Since operations commenced in 2011, MYTCL (Myanmar Yang Tse Copper Limited) has consistently maintained cathode quality in accordance with LME Grade A specifications, as well as sustained a best practices international performance standard throughout operations while achieving continual improvements in value, environment, health and safety standards. The standards are published by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, an international standard setting body composed of representatives from various organisations that promote worldwide proprietary, industrial and commercial standards. For us at MYTCL, sustainability means more than managing a long-term profitable business, it is accepting accountability for the impacts we have on society, as well as for managing the legacy we leave behind when our mining activities have been completed for the country of Myanmar.
